Tour Des Chutes. A multi-distance cycling event staged every July by a local brain cancer survivor to benefit the St. Charles Cancer Services Survivorship Program and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Heaven Can Wait. A 5K walk/run founded by a breast cancer survivor held annually on National Cancer Survivors Day (the first Sunday in June) to benefit Sara’s Project.

    
 
 
 

 

Sara's Project. Sara’s Project of the St. Charles Foundation was established in memory of Sara Fisher, cherished teacher, counselor and active volunteer who died of breast cancer in 1992. Sara’s Project promotes women’s health through research, education, outreach and support services in Central Oregon.

 

       

Wendy's Wish. Wendy’s Wish, established in memory of Wendy Huntley, a high school teacher who died of colon cancer in 2006, exists to provide education, promote early detection of colorectal cancer and offer affordable and compassionate support.

 

Joan Gould Memorial Trek. The story behind the first in a series of training hikes for cancer survivors and family/friends in preparation for climbing one of the Cascade peaks.

For Your Health. A Web site featuring nutritional recipes to inspire people to incorporate more fruits, vegetables, legumes and whole grains into their diet. 

     

 

Central Oregon Trails. This Web site was designed by a cancer survivor highlighting Central Oregon hiking and snow-shoe trails.
